This three month mentoring program will give you the framework to gain insights and learn from an experienced colleague. In a climate of openness and trust, the mentor will share with you insights and knowledge about music therapy in early childhood education and international matters. All mentoring sessions will be tailored to your situation and kept confidential. The mentor will provide structure and organize the sessions for maximum effectiveness. Entering a mentoring relationship means taking responsibility for one’s own professional growth and making a commitment of excellence to your clients.

Who?

1. •Young professionals working with or studying young children and their families
   

2. •Music therapy students and professionals who consider working or studying abroad
   

What?

1. •Providing guidance for Assessment, Treatment Planning, Evaluation, and Termination and/or administrative, leadership, collegial, and motivational issues related to music therapy in early childhood education
   

2. •Preparing mentee to study or work abroad, including cultural aspects, obstacles,  and making initial contacts with music therapists in the guest country
